ASP Europe Confirms Action-Packed Spring Leg Starting April 1 
Stephanie Gilmore has won the prestigious Laureus World Action Sportsperson of the year award, elevating her to among the world's elite athletes. The victory put Gilmore alongside the likes of superstar sprinter Usain Bolt, tennis ace Serena Williams and comeback star Kim Clijsters, who were also recognised by the Laureus World Sports academy.

The best of the best high performance surfboards and equipment will be on display during the two-day exposition at the Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo in Ventura, Ca. These exhibitors will be vying for the acclaimed "Best of Show" award given to the manufacturer that is on the cutting edge of performance, design, and manufacturing technique. 
After three years of worldwide touring with artists such as Foo Fighters, Incubus, Switchfoot and Angels & Airwaves, Timmy Curran is set to release his sophomore album titled VerseS. Recorded in the rolling hills of Ventura at Brotheryn studios, VerseS has been described by Curran as his most intimate and personal album yet. 
The 2010 ASP North America Pro Junior Series is set to kickoff the first of eight events slated for the men’s calendar with the ASP Grade-3 Ron Jon SI Pro presented by Skullcandy and also marks the first of four women’s events with the ASP Grade-2 Skullcandy Junior Pro, with both events slated to hit the iconic break of Sebastian Inlet. The event holds a waiting period from March 11-14, 2010 and is currently expecting to run on the first two available days. March 22nd is World Water Day - a global observance of our planet's most precious resource.

World-class surfers Kelly Slater, Taj Burrow and Owen Wright will be busting out their best moves for the Boost Mobile SurfSho presented by Samsung, taking place on Bondi Beach from 12th to 14th March 2010. The first international surfing competition to take place on Bondi Beach in over 20 years, the three-day event will see the most exciting aerial surfers from across the globe competing for a $30,000 prize on Bondi’s famous waves.
